It contributes to the social and economic well-being of Palestinian households, especially in rural areas. Olive production and related activities are essential to the Palestinian people and economy; hence it  must be taken into consideration in any developmental plans in Palestine. \n\n Since the very beginning of its statistical activities, PCBS has focused on the sub-sector of olive production and started to conduct an annual survey of olive presses as early as 1995.  This nineteenth issue of the survey is done - for the first time - in cooperation with MoA.\n\nThis report  presents data about the main indicators pertaining to the 2014 olive season.
