The staff of this project participated in previous survey projects at PCBS, and are well trained and qualified.\n\nThe West Bank was divided into three areas (North, Middle and South), each of which was supervised by one field supervisor.  Each region consists of a number of districts, and the fieldwork was carried out by one fieldwork team, consisting of 2-3 interviewers.\n\nGaza Strip was also divided into three areas (North, Middle and South). Fieldwork activities were carried out by one fieldwork team, each consisting of a supervisor, an editor and 3 interviewers.\n\nSpecial procedures were followed in order to ensure quality control and efficient organization of fieldwork. Such procedures are important for supervising work, as well as for receiving and delivering questionnaires, maps, sample lists in addition to other forms used for management and quality control.\n\nField operations were conducted in the Palestinian Territory from 15\/11\/2003 to 07\/01\/2004. Fieldwork teams were distributed to each area on the basis of the sample size. The number of LFS' fieldwork team was 22, including the fieldwork coordinator, 4 supervisors and 3 editors","act_min":"Special patterns were designed to follow-up receiving and handing in questionnaires at all levels and the daily follow up of interviewers work. The supervisor handed out work on the team using a map and sample. Daily and weekly reports were submitted to the coordinator of the fieldwork and the project administration. The reports explain the number of complete interviews and non-response. In addition to conducting field visits by the technicians and coordinators in order to oversee work and ensure data quality and assisting in solving any problems facing the field team.","weight":"A weight is defined as the inverse of the probability of selecting a subject from the study population, to be included in the study sample. It is interpreted as the number of subjects in the population that are represented by a particular subject in the sample.
