PCBS\u2019 Services Statistics Program is part of the Economic Statistics Program, which is part of the larger program for establishing the System of Official Statistics for Palestine. PCBS initiated, in the reference year 1994, the economic surveys series. The series includes, in addition to the services survey, surveys on industry, internal trade construction-contractors, and transport and storage sectors for the purpose of establishing a time series data base of economic activities in line with international recommendations specified in System of National Account (SNA) 93 and in the UN manual for Services Statistics. The sampling frame for the different economic surveys was based on the findings of the 2007 Establishment Census conducted by PCBS.","time_periods":[{"start":"2011-01-01","end":"2011-12-31","cycle":""}],"coll_dates":[{"start":"2012-04-01","end":"2011-06-14","cycle":"yearly"}],"nation":[{"name":"Palestine","abbreviation":"PSE"}],"geog_coverage":"West Bank and Gaza Strip","geog_unit":"West Bank and Gaza Strip","analysis_unit":"Enterprise constitutes the primary sampling unit (PSU)","universe":"Sample from Services Enterprises (privet sector)","data_kind":"Sample survey data [ssd]","notes":"Identification data\t\nData about enterprise assets.\t\nPurchasing goods for selling purpose.\t\nEmployed persons and their compensations\t\nVarious payments and transfers\t\nOther output expenses\t\nGoods productions\t\nGoods Production Inputs\t\nRevenues of Services Rendered to Others\t\nTaxes on production and fees\t\nVarious transfers and revenues \t\nFuel and oil"},"method":{"data_collection":{"data_collectors":[{"name":"Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics","abbreviation":"PCBS","affiliation":"Palestinian National Authority"}],"sampling_procedure":"The sample of the Services Survey is a single-stage stratified random - systematic sample in which the enterprise constitutes the primary sampling unit (PSU).
