These households cover all households living, during the census, in West Bank and Gaza Strip except those living in the annexed part of Jerusalem.\n\n-\tSample Design:  A systematic random sample of 20% of the households is selected, then all household members of the selected households are selected.\n\n-\tSampling Weights:  Sampling weights are calculated and added to the data file, they should be used when calculating estimates from the data file.\n\nEstimation procedures using weights\n\n1.\tEstimating Means, Ratios or Proportions:\nThere is no need for using the weights when estimating means, ratios or proportions since the sample is self weighted.\n\n2.\tEstimating Totals:\nWeights should be used to get an un-biased estimate of the Total, as follows:\n\n1.\tMultiply the variable that represents the weight (W) by the variable that you want to estimate it's total (Y) to get a weighted variable say (Z)\n\nWhere :\n\n\t\tZ = W * Y\n\n2.
